Media companies can use social media because people from around the world can see it and look at what they post, this helps the company reach a wider audience which then brings in a bigger profit. For example on Marvel's instagram page which is @Marvel Entertainment they have been advertising their new film "The Eternals" by releasing videos about each of the characters in the film. This builds up peoples excitement for the film. Another example is Tik Tok and @SonyPictures released teasers for the film Venom 2: let there be carnage.
Question 3 (a) Social media has influenced a lot of people ideologies due to globalisation, this could be because many different cultures have appeared on social media and have found new audiences to connect with. For example Korea Pop was influenced by American and British pop groups, this was achieved by people in South Korea seeing the pop groups and started to idolise them.
